Steps and safety analysis of constructing a farm fence
There are several uniform steps that are needed in the construction of a stable fence for a property. There are several risks associated in the construction of a fence. These risks are outlined in a risk analysis table. To avoid injury there are control measure outlined for each step which should be understood and followed during the task.
1. Place and assemble strainer posts and or strainer assembly
2. Run string line or sight in star pickets
3. Assemble star pickets
4. Run plain wires and tension
5. Run ring lock or hinge joint, tension and attach
6. Run barb wire, tension and attach
Risk analysis
This risk analysis can be used to to identify the hazards, the level of risks and the control measure for each step needed to complete a safely build farm fence. You will need to read over and take into account the PPE gear needed for each step, it is advised that all PPE gear to be warn in all tasks.
